History

The private joint-stock company "Suvirininkystė" was founded on March 17, 1993. The expert opinion on the following items, i.e. the welding technologies, the welding materials and the materials to be welded, the equipment and the thermal processing of the welded joins, served as the main sphere of the company's activity within the first years of its existence.

Within the years 1994-1999 the company had been acting as the authorized representative of the USA company "Lincoln Electric Company", which trades with the welding equipment and materials.

In the year 1996 the private joint-stock company "Suvirininkystė" started its production activity as well, specializing in production of the welded constructions, made out of steel and aluminum.

In the year 2000 the subsidiary, i.e. the private joint-stock company "Visagino Metalo Konstrukcijų Gamykla" (The Visaginas factory of metal constructions), was founded. At present the main production of metal constructions is concentrated there.

In the year 2004 the private joint-stock company signed the Agreement on common activity with the private joint-stock company "Ir-San" and started to mount metal constructions. Thus, it expanded its activity.

Employees
34 welders, assembly workers and locksmiths of a high qualification, work for the company. 6 employees, possessing a university technical and economical education, work in the administration.

The company is managed by assistant professor of the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University tech.dr.Leonas Keblas.

The Lithuanian Airlines, the private joint-stock company "Dobilas", the Lithuanian Opera and Ballet House, the private joint-stock company "Stimeksa", the private joint-stock company "Grundolita", the private joint-stock company "Biseris", the private joint-stock company "Transimeksa", the private joint-stock company "Ekspobalta" use the services of production and repair of aluminum, stainless steel and titan constructions.

The company cooperates with many metal suppliers, the suppliers of welding materials and equipment, of paints and tools. The private joint-stock company "Ajeras", the private joint-stock company "Baltexim", the private joint-stock company "Senukai", the private joint-stock company "Lumingas", the private joint-stock company "Petrolana", the private joint-stock company "Glomera", the private joint-stock company
"Trukstalis", the private joint-stock company "S K V", the private joint-stock company "Spalvonika", the private joint-stock company "AGA" are the main partners-suppliers.
